Terms of use
Last updated: 1 October 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of the Aveya website at aveya.be (the "Site") and the services we offer through the Site: submitting a financing application, receiving and comparing offers, and following up your application on your personal page (together the "Service"). By visiting the Site or using the Service, you accept these terms.
1. The operator
Adefin bv
Registered office: Hundelgemsesteenweg 575 box 002, 9820 Merelbeke-Melle, Belgium
Contact: [email protected]
2. What the Service is
Aveya helps you find financing for the purchase of a vehicle. We read your quote, assess your application and present offers from financiers we work with. Aveya itself is not a lender or lessor: the financing is provided by the financier, under its own terms.
An offer is calculated from the data that you and external sources provide. It remains subject to the financier's final check. The financing agreement is only concluded when you sign the financier's contract.
3. Access
To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity. If you apply for financing for a company, you declare that you are authorised to represent it.
4. Your obligations
You agree:
- to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information and documents;
- to use only your own email address and not to share the sign-in links we send you;
- not to use the Site for fraud, unsolicited messages or harmful content;
- not to circumvent or interfere with the Site's security measures, and not to use automated means (bots, scrapers) without our prior written consent;
- not to use the Site in breach of applicable law.
We may refuse or stop an application if we reasonably find that these terms are not respected.
5. Electronic signature
On your personal page you can sign an offer, a contract or a delivery note electronically. We record your name, the time, your IP address, your browser details and a digital fingerprint of exactly the document you signed. You accept that these records serve as evidence of your agreement to that document.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Site (texts, images, logos, the Aveya name, source code and design) belongs to Adefin or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark law and other intellectual property rights. You may not copy, distribute or modify any part without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.
7. Availability and disclaimer
We do our best to keep the Site available and its information accurate, but the Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by Belgian law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that an offer suits your situation. Amounts on the Site and in offers are indicative until the financier confirms them in the contract.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by Belgian law, Adefin and its directors, employees and subcontractors are not liable for indirect or consequential damage or loss of profit arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Site or the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Belgian law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury, or your rights as a consumer.
9. External links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, such as a financier's. We have no control over those websites and are not responsible for them.
10. Personal data
How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy statement, which forms an integral part of these terms.
11. Changes
We may change the Site, the Service or these terms. The version on this page applies; the date at the top shows the latest change. For an application already in progress, the terms that applied when you submitted it remain in force unless you agree to the new ones.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes are submitted to the competent courts of Brussels (Dutch- or French-speaking division, as the case may be), without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules allowing you to choose the court of your place of residence.
13. Severability
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions remain in force. The invalid provision is replaced by a valid one that comes closest to the original intention.
